My Husband had an idea to make our lives easier. What was the big idea? Making all the dinners for the week in one day.
I thought why not give it a try. I will keep everyone posted on how well this works for a family of seven and if its really a time saver.
Keeping my kitchen clean is also a big pro and if clean up doesnt have to be a struggle every night I will for sure be a Happy Mama!
Here is my Almost 9 year old daughter Shyanne cooking hamburger meat to help put into freezer bags. I am cooking the bacon to put into our potato soup :) YUM
Potato soup just needs milk and half n half

Options:
You can use onion powder in place of fresh onion.
You can add celery and/or carrots with potatoes.
You can serve soup with shredded cheese of your choice on top.
You can serve soup with cut-up fresh chives (green onions) on top.
If you want soup a little thinner add in some of the reserved potato water that you saved. If that isn't enough add a little more milk. Add enough liquid to make soup to your liking.
